So I've been very lax in blogging, obviously. I've been swamped with work and with the interception of facebook into my life...I've neglected the much more creative outlet of blogging. Anyway..Elka graduated from boarding school at Durham Kennels at the end of May. We are overwhelmingly pleased with how well she is doing. She still has puppy outbursts occasionally, but all and all it is an absolute pleasure to walk her around the 'hood and take her to events such as the Farmer's Market and Thursday Night Live.
In July I celebrated my Super Sweet Sixteen Redux (i.e. 32, there I said it). Jennifer Miller with Baker's Bliss made my cake which was fabulicious. Yes, it was planned for the dress to match the cake! Several of my friends joined me and thaKing at Atomic Cafe to celebrate my birth. We decorated foam coozies with foam stickers. You are never too old to enjoy crafts! It was a blast and I truly appreciate my friends coming out to make getting older way more fun!
